If that doesn&#039;t work, step 2 would be plugging in your iPod and doing a &quot;restore to factory default&quot; from within iTunes. If THAT doesn&#039;t work, step 3 would be a visit to your local apple genius bar. And if they can&#039;t help, then the happy step 4 is to buy a new iPod...
